Creating and Designing (Front Cover - Exam)

I also experimented with lino, howeve I decided not to use what i had done as it i did not want to complicate the media of my book cover, by making it look 'over the top' and crowded.

After scanning my drawing of the caterpillar and the mushroom I then coloured it in and added it to my book cover.

Using water colour I painted the grass, multiplied it and edited it adding it to my book cover design.

I used the same technique on the bunting, scanned it coloured and added it to my keyhole design.

Possible proportions for Alice and the key hole.

When Experimenting early, I really liked the effect polystyrene gave when printed, I cut out the keyhole and the inside of the keyhole, along with the this way that way sign, using a scalpel. Shown above are the first stages of this process.
